Black Homeownership Rate Hits Lowest Level Since the 1960s—That’s Unlikely To Change in Pandemic Year 2

In the second quarter of 2019, the Black homeownership rate dropped to 40.6%, down 7 percentage points from a decade earlier. It now hovers closer to 44%.
